“This is not a simple sponsorship, but a collective construction for a significant change in basic education in our country”, highlights Victor Ladeira, executive director of the Institute

“It is impossible to consider a better future without education.” Driven by this certainty and the desire to promote a legacy of transformation, Vini Jr. founded the Institute that bears his name in 2020. This Thursday, February 1, the organization celebrates the arrival of its biggest sponsor: PRIO, the largest independent oil and gas company in Brazil, becomes a partner, driving the growth of the initiative and expanding its legacy on a large scale.

“My family, my team and I always said that we would do a relevant work and that at the right time, with results to show, committed companies with the same DNA would appear to strengthen our construction. This moment has arrived and I believe that PRIO will greatly enhance our expansion and, consequently, increase our impact”, celebrates the great soccer player. “The arrival of PRIO strengthens the Institute’s structure, as we will invest more in research and development, expand our team, test and develop new social technologies.

More than expanding the reach, we strengthen the network that we currently support and consolidate processes that are inspiring public policies in some Brazilian municipalities”, adds Victor Ladeira, executive director of Vini Jr. Institute. Victor also adds while celebrating the synergies: “In addition to being from the city of Rio de Janeiro and disruptive, our common hallmarks are innovation and efficiency in our processes and, above all, the restlessness that moves us towards new practices that change the status quo.”

Currently operating in the states of Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Pernambuco and Rio Grande do Sul, the project will double its legacy with the arrival of PRIO, starting to encompass schools in the states of Bahia, Espírito Santo and a state in the North of the country by the end of 2024. “Implementation of the Movement and Learning methodology, which fights physical inactivity and inserts movement as a fundamental tool in the cognitive development of students; Launching of textbooks focusing on Education for Ethnic-racial Relations and Literacy; implementation of BASE Educational Technology Centers (BASE CTs) in new cities”. These are some of the implementation goals for this year, according to Victor.
