PRIO promotes surprise meeting between athlete and children from the Vini Jr institute

Last Wednesday (17), PRIO, the main sponsor of the Vini Jr. Institute, organized an unforgettable meeting for more than 200 children from public schools in Rio de Janeiro. The event, entitled Vini Day, took place at Theater I ❤ PRIO, at the Brazilian Jockey Club, and included a series of recreational activities, such as magic, climbing, a dance contest and a special surprise: the presence of the player Vini Jr.

The Vini Day program took advantage of the Real Madrid player’s vacation to create a unique experience for young people. Vini Jr. participated in the activities, interacted with the children and shared his journey. “It is an honor to be able to meet you and talk about an initiative that supports everyone’s development every day. Where I came from, there are few opportunities and I, the Institute and my family want to give all of you lots of opportunities so that you have the wisdom to choose what you want to do,” said the athlete.

The event also featured a performance by Favela Brass, a project also sponsored by PRIO, which promotes social transformation and cultural inclusion through free musical education for young people from favelas and public schools in Rio de Janeiro. “PRIO has always believed in the importance of promoting access to culture and sport for society. Providing this meeting, in addition to being a way to make many children’s dreams of meeting Vini Jr. in person come true, is also an opportunity to reinforce the relevance of the partnership between private companies and the 3rd sector.,” says Camilla Trindade, Social Projects Manager at PRIO.
