PRIO promotes the health and well-being of its employees through programs that evaluate physical, mental, and social health, in addition to encouraging good practices of health and self-care.

Occupational Health 

PRIO performs occupational medical examinations and, if necessary, develops individual treatment plans to seek to improve the health of its employees. Moreover, the company monitors its own workers according to the risks of activities for the Occupational Health Medical Control Program.

PRIO vessels have a health care service for their crews, with trained nurses, who periodically receive training on issues related to the risks inherent to on board activities.

The adherence rate to PRIO’s Health and Well-being Program is over 85%.

PRIO prioritizes the well-being of its employees with the Health and Well-Being Program,
which includes various physical activities as well as online psychological and nutritional services.

The company performs physical evaluations to adapt activities to the employee’s profile. In 2022, 53 employees used psychological care services and 103 received nutritional guidance, with an average of 28 and 26 monthly meetings, respectively

Health and Wellness program

PRIO invests in programs that promote good health and self-care practices. With the Integrated Occupational Health Program as well as the Health and Well-being Program, the company seeks to evaluate the health of employees in physical, mental, and social aspects, and to offer activities that help in employees’ personal and professional development.

In late 2022, PRIO celebrated the mark of more than 4,300 days without any lost-time accidents at its assets.

Principles for safe operation

PRIO considers the safety of its employees as its highest priority in all activities. The “Principles for Safe Operation” program provides guidelines to ensure the safety and health of professionals, the safety of processes and the reliability and integrity of assets.

To foster employee engagement, the topic was defined by senior management as one of the targets in variable compensation for all levels of the company, then promoting employee participation and commitment.
