PRIO sponsors ArtRio and fosters interaction between art and social projects
Reinforcing its commitment to culture, PRIO sponsored the 14th edition of ArtRio, one of the most important art events in Latin America, which took place from September 25th to 29th, , between 2:00 pm and 9:00 pm at Marina da Glória. With a special space in the Pavilhão Mar (Sea Pavilion), the company brought iconic works by renowned artist Ziraldo, as well as interactive activities. The space also featured original works of art and daily conversations with authors about art and education in social projects.
“It is a great pleasure to contribute to an event like ArtRio, which fosters an unparalleled movement in Rio de Janeiro involving art and culture. The possibility of showcasing Ziraldo’s iconic works and promote relevant conversations with great Brazilian authors, as well as representatives of social projects that change the lives of hundreds of children and teenagers, marks another step in our commitment to the cultural development of the city of Rio de Janeiro,” says Camilla Trindade, PRIO’s Sponsorship and Social Projects Manager.
PRIO took advantage of its participation in the event to stress its crossover strategy with the social projects it supports and promoted some initiatives. One of them was the sale of shirts, whose proceeds will go to Favela Brass, a music education program aimed at young people from the favelas and public schools of Rio de Janeiro. Rede Cruzada and Instituto Vini Jr. were also present at a talk addressing the transformative role of art in the education of young people. Furthermore, 15 young people from Rede Cruzada took an exclusive guided tour to the fair.
