ES Oil & Gas Energy 2024: expectations and investments in Espírito Santo

ES Oil & Gas Energy 2024 will take place from August 6th to 8th at Pavilhão de Carapina, in the municipality of Serra, state of Espírito Santo, and this year PRIO will sponsor the event for the first time, which will focus on the future of offshore oil and gas production in the state.

“At this event, we will have the chance to bring together the technical community, companies, partners and professionals to openly discuss challenges and opportunities. Espírito Santo plays a fundamental role in this scenario and we are already working hard with local institutions, partners and suppliers to prepare the start of operations at the Wahoo field”, explains Francilmar Fernandes, Chief Operating Director.

In addition to the participation of executives in the program, PRIO will bring a 56-meter interactive booth with a detailed model of the Wahoo tieback (underwater connection between this field and Frade) and an interactive x-ray with historical data from the company. Visitors will be able to interact with company professionals and learn more about different areas. Furthermore, at the end of the event, a surfboard autographed by the winners of the 1st edition of the I❤PRIO Dream Tour, a stage of the Brazilian surfing championship sponsored by the company in the state, will be raffled.

With an investment of R$ 4.5 billion for the development of the Wahoo field, which will have a 35 km submarine connection, boosting the production of 40 thousand barrels per day and generating over R$ 3 billion in royalties for the State and the Federal Government, PRIO is taking advantage of the event to introduce itself to the Espírito Santo market.
