Porsche Cup final will feature a car inspired by a hit movie to break with tradition and talk about efficiency
Can you imagine what it would be like if a famous doll took part in the Porsche Cup final? Those attending the event this Saturday (4/11) will know what it’s like. That’s because the 992 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car of the championship’s leading driver, Nicolas Costa, has been given a special makeover inspired by the year’s blockbuster movie. With 5 victories throughout the championship, the driver is a great highlight on the track, either for his performance or even for the attention his cars tend to attract. Throughout the championship, he drove a car with a watermelon sticker and his overalls matched the theme.
The identity of his cars has been done by the sponsoring company, PRIO, since the beginning of the championship. Brazil’s largest oil and gas independent is trying to stand out and show that it is ready to do things differently if necessary. The company, which released its results to the market this week, is having a very good year in the management of its assets, which is being reflected in its sponsorships, which have seen an increase of around 25% in the amount invested compared to 2022. “We want to attract attention, talk about efficiency and how much we value high performance in a different way to the traditional one,” explains Gabriel Hackme, the company’s Incentive Projects and Sponsorship manager. “For this final, we decided to put pink stickers on it and bring back the theme of the movie that made the most noise this year, which is young, modern and non-conformist, just like PRIO”.
