Check out PRIO’s program at the 20th Rio Oil & Gas
Rio de Janeiro, September 2022 – Rio de Janeiro will once again become the global center of the oil industry at the 20th edition of Rio Oil & Gas, to be held from September 26 to 29. PRIO (B3: PRIO3 – formerly PetroRio), Brazil’s largest independent oil and gas company and a pioneer in recovering and increasing the useful life of mature fields, will be present as a sponsor and an active participant in the event’s discussions.
PRIO executives will contribute to the debate about the sector in round tables and special sessions during the event. The company will also have the ‘Energia Humana Gera Energia’ booth, on the second floor of the Kobra pavilion, near the auditorium, to promote its projects. Besides learning more about PRIO’s work, those who visit the space can also admire artistic presentations, relax with a shiatsu session, or enjoy a buffet of snacks, fruits, and popsicles.
Programming
It will be at this booth that PRIO will address its successful track record of extending the life of value in mature fields, its contribution to generating value and energy efficiently in the fields, the brand history, and other relevant issues about Brazil’s largest independent oil and gas company.
On the first day of the event, PRIO’s COO, Francilmar Fernandes, will participate in SOMA – ANP’s X Workshop on Operational Safety and the Environment, between 3:15pm and 4:10pm. On the second day (9/27), he will participate in the special session ‘Offshore Mature Fields: Petrobras divestments put important assets back in evidence’, together with other executives from the sector. The discussion, which will address strategies, new practices, and new technologies available with digital transformation in the area, will begin at 10:50 a.m.
On the third day of Rio Oil & Gas (28), Aline Almeida, responsible for the socio-economics area at PRIO, will participate in the panel ‘The Mandate of the SDGs until 2030 – What is Possible to Achieve? On the same day, between 12 noon and 2 pm, in Studio 1+1, Flavio Canto, judoka and member of the company’s board of directors, will join representatives of the company’s HR and management teams to tell all about the selection processes at PRIO, especially the trainee and intern programs.
