PRIO Announces Acquisition of an Additional 28.6% in Wahoo Field

PRIO announced the acquisition of an additional 28.6% in the Wahoo Field. With this portion, negotiated with Total, the Company’s stake in the field now stands at 64.3%.

Production at Wahoo, initially estimated at 10,000 barrels per day per well, could exceed 40,000, based on the results of the formation test conducted at an exploratory well.

Wahoo, with an oil discovery in 2008 and formation test conducted in 2010, has the potential to produce over 140 million barrels (100% of the field).
